How to Order from the GEMPC Canteen and Grocery Online

Enjoy hassle-free shopping and meal ordering through our new and improved GEMPC E-Commerce platform. Here’s how you can make the most out of your digital member experience.

 

Step-by-Step Guide for Canteen Ordering

 

  1. Log in to your Member Account
    • Go to the GEMPC website and enter your login credentials.
    • Once logged in, you'll be directed to your personal dashboard.

 

  1. Click “Visit Website” from Your Dashboard
    • This will take you to the GEMPC homepage.
    • From there, click the EAT tab to access the online canteen.

 

  1. Browse the Menu
    • Choose from categories like Breakfast, Lunch, Snacks, and Drinks.
    • Click on a meal to view more details, then select quantity and Add to Cart.

 

  1. View Your Cart
    • Click View Cart to review your orders.
    • Adjust quantities, remove items, or enter a gift certificate or discount code.
    • You may also write special instructions (e.g., “no onions,” “add extra sauce”).

 

  1. Proceed to Checkout
    • Review your name, contact info, and enter any additional instructions.
    • Select your Pick-up Location from the list:
      • GEMPC Canteen
      • GEMPC Building
      • GMA Annex Basement 1
      • GMA Network Center Basement 1 Guard
      • Your Home or Office Address

 

 

  1. Select Payment Method
    • Choose between Cash on Delivery or Payroll Deduction.

 

  1. Place Your Order
    • Click Place Order. A confirmation will appear on the screen.
    • You’ll also receive an order confirmation email.

 

  1. Track Your Order
    • Go back to your dashboard and click My Orders to view your order status.
    • Order status will update as it progresses:
      • Pending → Confirmed → Preparing → Delivered → Order Received

Added Feature: You can now message the Canteen Service admin directly by opening your order. This helps if you have questions, changes, or delivery concerns.

 

 

Step-by-Step Guide for Grocery Ordering

 

  1. Log in to Your Member Account
    • Use your GEMPC credentials to access your member dashboard.

 

  1. Click “Visit Website” and Select the SHOP Tab
    • On the homepage, go to SHOP to enter the grocery store.

 

  1. Search for Items
    You can:
    • Browse by category (e.g., Snacks, Beverages, Pantry Staples)
    • Use the search bar to look for a specific item
    • Scroll through the full product list

 

  1. Add Items to Your Cart
    • Click on a product, select the quantity, and click Add to Cart.

 

  1. View Your Cart and Edit
    • Click View Cart to see all selected items.
    • Increase or decrease quantities, remove items, and input any discount codes.
    • You can also click Continue Shopping to go back and add more products.

 

  1. Proceed to Checkout
    • Confirm your name, contact info, and fill in any instructions in the "Additional Info" box.

 

  1. Select Delivery or Pick-up Location
    Choose from:
    • GEMPC Canteen
    • GEMPC Building
    • GMA Annex Basement 1
    • GMA Network Center Basement 1 Guard
    • Your Home or Office Address

 

  1. Choose Payment Option
    • Select Cash on Delivery or Payroll Deduction.

 

  1. Finalize Your Order
    • Click Place Order.
    • You’ll get an on-screen confirmation and an email with your order summary.

 

  1. Track Your Order
  • Go to My Orders in your dashboard to monitor the status of your grocery order.
  • Order status will also follow this sequence:
    • Pending → Confirmed → Preparing → Delivered → Order Received

 

Added Feature: You can also send a direct message to the Grocery admin by opening or viewing your specific order. Use this for follow-ups, clarifications, or special requests.
