GEMPC Officially Launches E-Commerce Platform!
On June 30, 2025, marked a new chapter in GEMPC history as we proudly launched our very own E-Commerce platform bringing the convenience of cooperative services straight to the fingertips of our members. Held virtually via Zoom, the event gathered an overwhelming crowd of nearly 350 to 400 members from across the community, all eager to witness this major leap forward.
From 12:15 PM to 12:50 PM, the virtual room buzzed with energy and excitement as Vice Chairperson Ludy C. Guarin guided participants through the platform’s promising features, including: Online Canteen Orders, Grocery Checkout, Payroll Deduction Tracking, Member Online Account Access... and more innovations coming soon!
The launch was ended with a warm and inspiring message from Chairperson Jose Vernon A. Jacela, who reminded everyone that this project is both a celebration and a beginning:
“This is more than just a launch, it’s a reflection of our mission to innovate and serve better. This E-Commerce platform is a step toward the future. And like all beginnings, we know there will be adjustments, learnings, and room for growth.”
He gently added:
“We ask for your kindness and understanding as we grow and improve this system. These are small but meaningful steps, and with your continued support and feedback, we will make this platform more efficient, reliable, and truly beneficial to all.”
To end the celebration on a high note, 10 lucky members received raffle prizes in the form of discount vouchers, adding excitement and appreciation to the launch.
