Who are entitled to become members of the GMA-7 Employees Multi-Purpose Cooperative (GEMPC)?
The membership of the Cooperative shall be open to all employees of GMA Network, Inc. and its subsidiaries and are residing at the area of operations and able to comply with all membership requirements
What are the requirements for membership?
1. Duly accomplished GEMPC Membership Form 2. One time membership fee of One Hundred Pesos (P100.00) to be deducted on salary 3. attend the mandatory pre-membership seminar organized by GEMPC 4. subscribe for at least twenty (20) shares with a total value of Two-Thousand Pesos (P2,000.00) of which at least Five Hundred Pesos (P500.00) corresponding to five (5) shares shall be paid upon submission of the application for membership
Can a member retain his/her membership to Cooperative even when he/she retires from his/her work?
Yes, provided that the employee signifies his/her intention to continue his/her membership to the Board in writing at least fifteen (15) days prior to the date of retirement and retain the full amount of his/her paid-up capital with the Cooperative.
