On May 28, 2025, the halls of the GEMPC Building, Events Place were filled with pride, gratitude, and quiet tears of joy as the GMA-7 Employees’ Multi-Purpose Cooperative (GEMPC) held its Awarding of Scholars 2025 a powerful celebration of hope, opportunity, and the life-changing gift of education. 

This scholarship program is more than a benefit, it is a promise fulfilled. A promise to our members who work tirelessly to provide a better future for their children, siblings, and loved ones. For many, these scholarships light the path where financial hardships once cast a shadow. They symbolize a second chance, a lifted burden, and a belief that no dream is too big when we rise together as a community. 

Each scholar awarded represents a story of perseverance, a family strengthened, and a future rewritten. And behind every name called, there stood a proud parent or sibling, eyes shining, hearts full, grateful not just for the financial help, but for the love and care of a cooperative that sees them, hears them, and believes in them.

This program is rooted in GEMPC’s mission: to improve the economic and social well-being of our members and their families. But more than that, it is a reflection of our values compassion, and service with purpose.
